Q:   Why do I get a statement if the PAY THIS AMOUNT box shows $0.00?

A: Parents have told us they want to know what we have charged them and whether their insurance has been billed. When the PAY THIS AMOUNT box is $0.00 we are seeking payment from your insurance. If you owe money after your insurance, we will change the PAY THIS AMOUNT box to show that it is your turn to pay and to let you know how much to pay. Arkansas Children's Hospital


Q:   Why do I have more than one account number?

A: Each time your child is seen at ACH a different account number is assigned for each date of service. Once your insurance has paid on the accounts, any balance due from you can be combined under one account number. 

Q:   I set up payment arrangements, why does my statement show the full amount due? 

A: Even though you made payment arrangements your statement will still show the full amount due. Any payment arrangements that have been made are set up on your account in our system.

Q:   What is ACH's Refund Policy? 

A: Arkansas Children’s Hospital policy is to refund overpayments promptly to the appropriate party upon identification of the overpayment. If you believe you have made an overpayment, please report your concern to Patient Accounts Customer Service at (501)364-2500.
